CSP - Resumption of Normal Operations/Visiting

We are pleased to announce that effective October 28, Colorado State Penitentiary (CSP) has resumed normal operations and visitation. Visiting appointments may be scheduled directly through the CSP Visiting Office by calling 719-269-5252.

Temporary Suspension of Outside Vendor Purchases

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is temporarily suspending purchases from outside vendors for incarcerated individuals and their families due to security concerns identified during a recent review with the Office of the Inspector General. Contraband was found in vendor-supplied packages, prompting an ongoing investigation. This suspension does not impact canteen orders or Union Supply care packages, which will continue as usual. CDOC is working to securely reinstate outside vendor purchases and will provide updates as the situation progresses. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Phones/internet down at AVCF, CCCF, BCCF

Due to a fiber optic line which provides phone and internet service to AVCF, CCCF, and BCCF being damaged, phone and internet service is currently out at these facilities.

YOS Visiting Update - Limited Opening of Visiting

Youthful Offender System remains on modified operations, limited visiting will be permitted on Saturday August 10, 2024 and Sunday August 11, 2024. Only those offenders at Phoenix status or assigned to Lower East living unit will be eligible for visits at this time. All visits for Friday August 9, 2024 are canceled.
