March 2026 Citizen Advocate Meeting:

The March 2026 Citizen Advocate Meeting will be held virtually, online only.

Meeting date and time: Thursday, March 12th, 3 pm to 5 pm.

RSVP Deadline: March 11, 2026 at 5 pm. Please RSVP by email to cdoc@state.co.us in order to receive the meeting link.  Please be aware that only those individuals who RSVP to the meeting will be admitted to it.

Meeting Format & Topic Submission: CDOC has revised its Citizen Advocate Meeting format.  We are no longer accepting specific questions to be addressed at the meeting.  The meetings will include a brief update at the beginning of the meeting from each division director.  Thereafter, we will break out into small groups to allow for you to speak directly with subject matter experts to have your questions answered. If you have a topic you would like the division directors to include in their updates, please send it to cdoc@state.co.us

If you wish to sign up for the email invitation list for the meetings, please email cdoc@state.co.us and you will be added to the invitation list.

The department has revised the format of its Citizen Advocate Meetings to include virtual meetings in an effort to make them more accessible to a wider audience.  Questions may be directed to Constituent Services by email at cdoc@state.co.us or by phone at 719-226-4569.

To attend an in-person Citizen Advocate Meeting please RSVP and submit a Consent to Search form (AR 300-27C) by the deadline identified to cdoc@state.co.us.

If you have submitted a consent to search form within the 12 months preceding the meeting date, please do not submit another form. Your form and clearance is valid for 12 months. If you are on an inmate's visiting list, you also are approved to attend and do not need to submit a Consent to Search form but will need to submit an RSVP. To check the status of a previously submitted form please feel free to email cdoc@state.co.us

Please submit questions and topics to cdoc@state.co.us, Constituent Services Office by the deadline indicated.

Please be sure you RSVP via email or phone to cdoc@state.co.us or 719-226-4569 by the RSVP deadline to ensure you are added to the approved facility entry list for the meeting. This will expedite your entry process and ensure you are able to attend the entire meeting.
