Citizen Advocate Meetings

Upcoming Citizen Advocate Meeting Dates and Deadlines

The Colorado Department of Corrections holds Citizen Advocate Meetings at regularly scheduled intervals as a forum for communication and information sharing between the Department of Corrections and its stakeholders.

Citizen Advocate Meetings are typically held twice yearly.

Dates for 2024 Citizen Advocate Meetings:

Meeting date and time: August 14, 2024, 1 pm to 3 pm
RSVP Deadline: August 7, 2024, 5 pm
Please RSVP by email to cdoc@state.co.us. If you have submitted a Consent to Search in the past year, you do not need to submit a new one. 
Question Submission Deadline: July 24, 2024, 5 pm
Questions for the meeting may be submitted by email to the Constituent Services Office at cdoc@state.co.us; please be sure to specify you are submitting questions for the August 2024 Citizen Advocate Meeting.

The DOC Citizen Advocate Meetings are held at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, 3600 Havana, Denver, CO 80239. To attend the Citizen Advocate Meeting please RSVP and submit a Consent to Search form (AR 300-27C) by the deadline identified to cdoc@state.co.us.

If you have submitted a consent to search form within the last 12 months of the meeting date, please do not submit another form. Your form and clearance is valid for 12 months. To check the status of a previously submitted form please feel free to email cdoc@state.co.us.

Please submit questions and topics to cdoc@state.co.us, Constituent Services Office by the deadline indicated.

Please be sure you RSVP via email or phone to cdoc@state.co.us or 719-226-4569 by the RSVP deadline to ensure you are added to the approved facility entry list for the meeting. This will expedite your entry process and ensure you are able to attend the entire meeting.
