Citizen Advocate Meetings

The Colorado Department of Corrections holds Citizen Advocate Meetings at regularly scheduled intervals as a forum for communication and information sharing between the Department of Corrections and its stakeholders.

Invitation to Livestream Update 4/30/2021:

Dear DOC Family and Friends,

CDOC will be hosting a livestream video update on Friday, April 30th from 11:30 am to noon. 

An update on current operations will be provided. We would encourage you to send in any questions you may have by email to cdoc@state.co.us by 5 pm Wednesday, April 28th so that we can answer as many of them as possible. Please be sure to note in your email that the questions are being submitted for the livestream.

Question Submission Deadline: Friday, April 16th, 8 am. 

CDOC will hold its April 2021 CAM via Google Meet.  Executive Director Williams and Executive Staff will provide updates on department operations and programs and will answer questions.  Please submit your questions by the above listed deadline.  RSVP is not required to attend. Note on in-person Citizen Advocate Meetings: 

Currently, in person Citizen Advocate Meetings have been suspended as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We will resume in-person meetings once it is safe to do so. In lieu of in-person Citizen Advocate Meetings, the department is holding weekly livestream calls to address questions or concerns and will hold its April CAM virtually.  Please see the livestream information above for information on how to join those meetings.

The DOC Citizen Advocate Meetings are held at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, 3600 Havana, Denver, CO 80239. The meetings will be from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. To attend the Citizen Advocate Meeting please RSVP and submit a Consent to Search form (AR 300-27C) by the deadline identified below to cdoc@state.co.us.

If you have submitted a consent to search form within the last 12 months of the meeting date, please do not submit another form. Your form and clearance is valid for 12 months. To check the status of a previously submitted form please feel free to email cdoc@state.co.us.

Please submit questions and topics to cdoc@state.co.us, Constituent Services Office by the deadline indicated.

Please be sure you RSVP via email or phone to cdoc@state.co.us or 719-226-4569 by the RSVP deadline to ensure you are added to the approved facility entry list for the meeting. This will expedite your entry process and ensure you are able to attend the entire meeting.
