Citizen Advocate Meetings

Upcoming Citizen Advocate Meeting Dates and Deadlines

The Colorado Department of Corrections holds Citizen Advocate Meetings at regularly scheduled intervals as a forum for communication and information sharing between the Department of Corrections and its stakeholders.

Citizen Advocate Meetings are typically held twice yearly.

Dates for 2024 Citizen Advocate Meetings:

Citizen Advocate Meetings for 2024 have concluded.  Please stay tuned to this page for dates for 2025 meetings.  If you wish to sign up for the email invitation list for the meetings, please email cdoc@state.co.us and you will be added to the invitation list. 

The department will be scheduling Citizen Advocate Meetings quarterly in 2025 and will be revising the format to include virtual meetings and meetings at different locations and times than were previously offered in an effort to make them more accessible to a wider audience.  Questions may be directed to Constituent Services by email at cdoc@state.co.us or by phone at 719-226-4569.

To attend the Citizen Advocate Meeting please RSVP and submit a Consent to Search form (AR 300-27C) by the deadline identified to cdoc@state.co.us.

If you have submitted a consent to search form within the last 12 months of the meeting date, please do not submit another form. Your form and clearance is valid for 12 months. To check the status of a previously submitted form please feel free to email cdoc@state.co.us.

Please submit questions and topics to cdoc@state.co.us, Constituent Services Office by the deadline indicated.

Please be sure you RSVP via email or phone to cdoc@state.co.us or 719-226-4569 by the RSVP deadline to ensure you are added to the approved facility entry list for the meeting. This will expedite your entry process and ensure you are able to attend the entire meeting.
