The Trinidad Correctional Facility (TCF) is located 15 miles east of Trinidad, Colorado on State Highway 350. Situated on 544 acres, TCF opened in December 2001, and currently has a bed capacity of 500 general population beds with 4 double bunked Restrictive Housing Unit cells. TCF is a Level 2 Minimum Restricted facility. The Physical Plant consists of five (5) Living units; each unit has a capacity of 100. Each living unit has 4 ADA accessible rooms/cells. The rest of the facility includes a Programs Building, a Support Building, a Case Management Modular, a Maintenance Shop/Warehouse Building, a WasteWater Treatment Plant, a Water Storage Tank, and a Pump House Building.

Visiting days are Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Visits must be scheduled in advance by 3:30 pm the Wednesday before the visitation weekend.
