Originally named Roubideaux Conservation Training Camp; Construction commenced in 1963 and was occupied by 1964, starting with 99 male inmates and 17 full time staff. DCC has experienced three expansions culminating in the current population at the minimum custody levels. Located approximately nine miles west of Delta, Colorado, the facility encompasses an area of approximately 113.85 acres.
