Fremont Correctional Facility (FCF) is a Level III, mixed custody facility that originally opened in 1958 as a Medium Custody facility. The facility has a total of 1,621 beds and currently houses Minimum, Minimum Restricted, Medium and Close Custody inmates. Fremont offers a significant amount of inmate programs to include a Therapeutic Community, JCAP (Juveniles Convicted as Adults Program), Pre-Release Programs and a Sex inmate Treatment Program. Many of the inmates enjoy meaningful work opportunities to include the Correctional Industries Furniture shop and Metal Products shop.

Effective May 1 - June 2, 2023, Fremont Correctional Facility visiting will be temporarily suspended due to an ongoing facility improvement project. If the facility renovation is completed prior to June 2, 2023, we will let you know so you can get your visits rescheduled.
At FCF we understand the importance of visitation between our population and their families and apologize for the inconvenience this disruption may cause.
