The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is temporarily suspending all scheduled in-person visitation for Unit 2 at the Sterling Correctional Facility (SCF). This suspension will be in effect from today, January 23, 2026, through January 25, 2026, due to operational needs.
We understand the importance of visitation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
While in-person visits are paused, families are encouraged to use electronic messaging and phone services to stay in contact. Our team is working to address operational requirements and restore the normal visitation schedule as soon as possible.
